Northport/Packer Technology Learning Center: HUD
Housing
and Urban Development has been a key partner over the years. Working with
management, the residents
and the owners they have
helped to create the communities in these locations and elsewhere. Their
recent help in the construction of community centers and the esblishment
of computer labs has been very much appreciated.
We especially appreciate the support and encouragement that we have received from our local HUD people.
There are interesting things happening at HUD. Check out their web site for more info.
HUD has recently announced a major initiative to develop community partnerships which will bring technology and training to low-income residents of public housing and multifamily insured and assisted housing.
