Packers Townhouses and Northport Apartments are not "public housing". These properties are owned by the non-profit organization, American Baptist Churches of Wisconsin. It is the intention of American Baptist Churches to serve low and moderate income families with quality housing and environment at an affordable rent. Amercan Baptist Churches has performed this role admirably since it purchased the properties over 22 years ago. {A little history...}

The American Baptist Churches of Wisconsin share with management the understanding that they are in working "partnership" with the residents. This philosophy guides the creation of policy and reinvestment in the housing community.
